Specialist provider of psychological assessment, therapy and consultation in South London & Surrey
We are two Highly Specialist Clinical Psychologists who have worked in mental health for over 12 years, have trained for seven years and have undertaken a three-year practitioner doctorate in Clinical Psychology. We specialise in child and adolescent mental health.
We aim to support people who want to understand and reduce psychological distress, and enhance resilience and wellbeing through the application of evidence-based psychological interventions. We do this through psychological assessments, therapy, consultations, training and specialist neuroaffirmative assessments.
Childhood and adolescence is a turbulent time full of change, growth, uncertainty yet also hope and excitement. Our goal is to help children, young people and families thrive and not just survive.
In addition to being clinicians working with young people, we are trained researchers and support workplace wellbeing. We have up to date knowledge on local frameworks and strategies on mental health and wellbeing and are skilled in translating this into the workplace. We empower workplaces to foster a culture of wellbeing and an environment where employees are valued.

Clinical psychologists aim to reduce psychological distress and promote psychological well-being. Clinical Psychologists undergo extensive training in various therapeutic models and evidence-based interventions to understand and alleviate distress across different stages of life. A Clinical Psychologist will have completed an Undergraduate Degree in Psychology (3 years), a Clinical Doctorate (3 years) and at least two years clinical work, meaning they will have at least 8 years practical training and experience. This doctoral program encompasses clinical placements, research, and academic tasks. Many Clinical Psychologists possess substantial experience in supporting emotional well-being before pursuing doctoral training
The title Clinical Psychologist is protected by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), ensuring that only individuals accredited and having completed an approved doctoral training course can legitimately use it.
Anyone can call themselves a Psychologist or Child Psychologist unfortunately as these are not protected titles. The lack of legal protection for these titles leaves room for individuals to misrepresent themselves, which may be misleading and fraudulent. It's crucial to verify the qualifications of anyone providing services to your child or family, as genuine professionals will welcome inquiries about their background and training.
